Willy has spent his career at top-tier commodity trading houses, working across three continents before founding Pyros.

He began at Cargill, spending five years trading iron ore — including three years based in China, at the centre of the world's largest steel market. He then joined Trafigura for nine years, moving between its Geneva and Singapore trading floor as he rose to lead the firm's Asia LNG team.

That path — from China's industrial heartland to Trafigura's global centre in Switzerland to Asia's LNG hub in Singapore — gives him first-hand command of the relationships, logistics and market dynamics that connect global commodity supply with Asian demand.
